Project
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Product Engineer to join a team responsible for building and maintaining an advanced analytical data layer based on the Data Mesh methodology. In this role, you will work on delivering high-quality data products that support modern FinTech services. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions, including data warehouses, analytical tables, and dashboards that visualize key business processes. The role also involves modeling analytical entities aligned with the most common use cases while optimizing the cost of data ingestion and querying. You will collaborate closely with data, product, and engineering teams to ensure that data products are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs in a modern cloud-based environment.
Expected competences and knowledge
- Minimum 6 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer
- Practical experience in implementing and orchestrating complex ETL processes (scheduled and dependency-driven)
- Ability to use statistical methods (e.g., distributions, percentiles) for data validation and Root Cause Analysis
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling, processing, storage, and aggregation
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in query optimization
- Experience analyzing complex customer processes and visualizing results using BI tools
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of data architecture
- Good communication skills in English
- Nice to have:
- Experience using Python for data processing and analysis
- Experience designing scalable model architectures in DBT
- Experience actively optimizing Snowflake infrastructure costs
