Project
As an Expert Data Engineer, you will design and build data systems and applications that support business decision-making. You will develop and maintain data pipelines in public cloud environments such as AWS, and participate in migrations from on-premises systems to cloud platforms. You will also contribute to building components for central enterprise data platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise along with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities You'll Have:
- Building distributed and highly parallelized Big data processing pipeline which process massive amount of data (both structured and unstructured data) in near real-time
- Leveraging Spark to enrich and transform corporate data to enable searching, data visualization, and advanced analytics
- Working closely with analysts and business stakeholders to develop analytics models
- Continuous delivering on Hadoop and other Big Data Platforms
- Automating processes where possible and are repeatable and reliable
- Working closely with QA team
Expected Competences and Knowledge:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Spark & Scala
- Minimum 7 years of experience with Python
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Linux
- Experience with distributed data processing engines
- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Oozie, MapReduce, etc.)
- Strong/Advanced SQL skills
- Experience in creating data flows
- Expertise in BitBucket and Git
- Experience with unit testing (JUnit 5, Mockito, Spark testing)
- Knowledge of code versioning and branching strategies
- Advanced English
- Collaborative, achieves goals through communication and teamwork in Agile setup (SAFe Framework)
